| My Mom is in the hospital right now. She had an episode Friday morning where her heart started racing and she couldn't breathe. Her doctor decided she must have too much fluid accumulating in her lungs and abdomen, so he admitted her to the hospital. They drained a lot of fluid off (she weighed herself today and is 13 pounds lighter than when they admitted her!) and that seems to be helping in a lot of ways. But, she had another episode with the racing heart bit this morning. So, she'll get checked out tomorrow to see if they can figure out what's going on. Mom is convinced that something is wrong with her heart. She has been convinced of that for quite a long time now. Hopefully the doctors can figure it out too. Labels: My Mom |
